Timeless. Rare. Heirlooms. Every diamond is like a thumbprint, completely unique with no two the same.
The number one question we get asked is the difference between antique and modern diamonds.
Rose Cut Diamonds
Rose Cut Diamonds date back to the early 1500s. Unlike more modern cuts, the table (surface) comes to a point, and they have a flat bottom.
Old Mine Cut Diamonds
Old Mine Cut Diamonds have a small table, large or "open" culet and are very deep. They were cut in round and cushion shapes.
Trans/Old European Diamonds
Old European Diamonds were cut in Europe while Trans were cut elsewhere.
Modern Round Brilliant
Modern Round Brilliant has a large table and small culet. Because of the wider table, light reflects off the surface and emits a sparkling white light called brilliance.
